Dez Bartlet Accomplished Writer and Author, DEZ BARTELT, has scoured the globe, not only to discover its riches, but to write about her adventures–the sights, the culture, the food, and wine. She has sampled the best New York restaurants and dined at Rome’s most unsurpassed, aged trattorias. She has enjoyed wine from the vineyards of Burgundy, France and walked through the cellars of Champagne.

A contributor to such publications such as The New York Times, her writings are regularly published in the top food destinations for The Associated Press, Examiner, CaribbeanTravelMag.com, Matador Travel, National Post, Woman’s Day, Woman’s Outside Magazine and Reader’s Digest. She’ made numerous media appearances and featured-guest appearances on travel shows.

Dez seeks out the world’s best travel destinations. She has chronicled everything from nouvelle cuisine to New American cuisine, discovered the best pizza Naples has to offer, and tasted the best barbecue in Korea.

Reading any of Dez’s top travel layover books, or her articles that evoke the beauty and excitement of places all over the world, will make you immediately want to visit a Paris bistro or an Icelandic glacier. Her writing makes it easier for them to do exactly that.  Her goal is, as it has always been, to create an interactive atmosphere with her readers.
